Well, first you have to go on the roof, and attach lots of colorful balloons!! ;D

My aunt and uncle got married there 23 years ago. It is such a gorgeous venue. Her theme was victorian of course to go with the mansion but I’m sure you can make your theme work too. WHen I think of Up I think of loads of colors from the balloons, like a rainbow theme. That would work really well in their gardens.

Do a Google search for “rainbow weddings.” πŸ™‚

@creativeplannertobee:  I like the lots of balloon idea! Even if they’re not on the roof (I’m not sure they would let you put them up there).

@asscherlover:

@FutureMrsMenjivar:  Actually, I was thinking they would be nice floating up from each of the 2 lower balcony railings in the front.  It would definitely need a cute little colorful table with an oversized “hand” painted galvanized mailbox for cards on the front porch-near the front door for the cards.  And maybe some old wooden crate boxes with bright annual flowering plants along the walk-but just inside the cement area, so as not to kill the grass.  Inside, lots of photos of the couple on the cake table, from childhood through the years.  Grape soda cap buttons for guests.   “And an Adventure Book” with photos of places they’ve travelled with the opposite page for signatures and well wishes -with the last page to be filled in with signatures -with honeymoon location photos on the opposite page, with plenty of pages for wedding photos and recaps to follow.  Oh and plenty of colorful flowers for the centerpieces.  Maybe tie-dye roses.

@creativeplannertobee:  I love that final picture! Beautiful! And reminds me of up in a way.

You could have your flower girl (or BMs) release balloons one at a time as she went down the aisle.

You could do a fingerprint tree with balloons too

You could work maps into your decor as well, to get in the adventure feel.

@kala_way:  I love that cake!!  Love the map idea for invitations!!  I was thinking of something like that last night as I drifted off.

Either that or a cake with those “tie-dye” roses.  I was thinking the “tie-dye roses” for the bride, or mix them with white ones and some baby’s breath.   And packets of skittles for favors!!

Oh, the other thing I thought of was either vintage sheets for tablecloths, vintage tablecloths or quilt tops sewn from fat quarters, with a doily in the center, and if @FutureMrsMenjivar:  and Fiance have any souveniers from trips they’ve taken, they could place them in the center with the flowers.  BTW-those Tutti-Frutti bouquets are only $10 each-$149.99 for 15!!

Oh, skittles is a cute idea. I’d scatter them on the guest tables at the reception.
