So after seeing a few bees here getting married in red… I have kind of become obsessed with it. It took me forever to photoshop just the right color of this gown but I have done it. What do you bees think? Also, was thinking of going the Jasmine’s Bridal way and having it replicated.
This gown is by designer Berta and is part of her 2014 collection.

I’m thinking of getting a red dress as a second (or third, lol) dress too! We’re getting married in Malaysia so I’d love to have a red cheongsam to celebrate in! Yours is a lovely color.

Absolutely I would! No colors were really off limits for me when I was wedding dress shopping. White is a recent thing, historically speaking, anyway. If you love something else, wear it. 🙂

gooooorgeoous!! Yes, go for it!

I definitely think that you should go for it. It’s a beautiful dress and in a great shade of red. I’m on of the Bees planning on wearing a red wedding dress to most of my wedding and a black gown to dance in so I may be a bit biased lol.

The dress is beautiful!!!

I’m wearing one. I had mine made by Carabridal and it will be one of the dresses I will change into during my reception. Vietnamese weddings can be like fashion shows sometimes. My mom wanted me to wear about 5 dresses, lol. Red is a very lucky color in a lot of Asian cultures. :>

That dress is so stunning!! I love the red. I had a red cultural reception dress and it was a hit with all our guests!

I didn’t vote because I don’t think what I would do matters. I say go for it!
I personally am not a fan of “reception dresses” but I get it. I fell in lovvvee with a dress that I kinda regret not getting. I didn’t get it b/c it was more casual. (Essentially it looked like a white bridesmaids dress). It would have been a great reception dress if that’s something I wanted to do.
That said, I always liked the idea of different color dresses. I say do it no matter what the color.

I just showed it to my sister and her fiance and they like the style but wonder if it would be appropriate, I’m not of Asian decent so culturally speaking it isn’t seen. However Thanks to your comments I’ve decided I will wear a red gown for my reception because I don’t think there would ever be another occasion in which I would be able to wear a long red dress this formal. I will post later on whether or not Jasmine’s Bridal will be my replica choice.

I love this dress! I was always thinking how would it look like in red. Can’t wait to see which company you’re going for 🙂
