DEF or GH Moissanite for a Rose Gold Bezel Setting?

baileybagels :  I think it depends on the cut and maybe even the company.  I think you can go warmer on a modern round but any fancy cut should probably be colorless.  Stepcuts could go either way depending on preference.

baileybagels :  I think most people would go colorless if they had a choice. I just can’t do colorless stones personally if it is in moissanite. I don’t like when they start looking blue/grey. I think whichever company you choose, I would ask to see one in natural daylight. If it looks a little yellow, then colorless would be a better choice. I had an oval in yellow gold G/H and it looked more like a K. I didn’t mind that at all but a lot of people do.

I just bought a 1ct square ghi bezel set from C&C and it doesn’t look to warm at all. Here is a pic with and without flash. Hope this helps!

I’ve got several examples of moissy in bezels. The small round is C&C classic in yellow gold. The small pear is a near colorless F1 C&C in yellow gold:

 

This next one is C&C near colorless Forever one H&A in a white gold bezel that’s not rhodium dipped. Sorry that the picture is so big.
