Bee, you’re not alone! I was very anxious two summers ago waiting for a proposal I knew would happen soon. About a month out from his plan I melted down and of course he reassured me that he was going to propose but looking back I now feel silly that I freaked out like I did. When I was able to control my anxiety it helped that I focused on the fact that once we were engaged everything would be about being engaged and a wedding. It was nice to just be in our relationship without any added stress of planning a wedding.

You are already moving pretty quickly Bee. You live together and has a ring already. Enjoy this extra time getting to know each other.

Lol I have been waiting for 4.5 years, and finally we got our butts in gear and COVID threw our proposal plans out the window 🙂 just stop and smell the roses girl! Enjoy this time getting to know each other, and really consider if this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. You have got time!

Your boyfriend bought a ring 4 months into the relationship and you are still stressing…whats the big rush. Your bit for d is right..you can and should enjoy the relationship just as much before and after a ring.

I find it strange   that your family and friends are hassling you about a proposal 10months into a relationship…unless you’ve told them and they’ve known for the past 6 months he has your ring…in which case I think if it’s common knowledge already I don’t understand the need for the surprise or elaborate proposal. Have him say a few nice words, ask you to marry him,put on your ring and end the stress over a faux surprise proposal.
