In my first act as a total bridezilla, I decided to delay sending our save the dates even longer today because I really wanted this return address stamp:
Now I’m thinking I want to dye my STD envelopes to match too. Mind you, our wedding is April 21, 2012…so I was really proud of myself for mailing them one year in advance…and instead they’re going out in May! Mind you, I’ve had them in the box since the end of February but was waiting to send them until we were a year out. Whoops. Guess I should have made up my mind a little faster.
As long as I’m not late for my actual wedding right??

Heh, I think you’ll be fine. 🙂 I sent mine at about eight months out.
I like the stamp! I just ordered an address stamp with our family name (e.g. The Smiths) to use for thank yous and whatnot after the wedding. Really excited about it!

Thanks guys! 🙂 Our wedding is a destination wedding, and everyone kind of knows the date, but I’m ready to send them! If only I had them done! hahaha Tons of people want to hook up for accomodations and stuff, and I feel like they will be more comfortable once they have that magical little card in their hands lol But that’s why it has to be PERFECT(-ish)! 😉

Ooooo that stamp is so pretty! Don’t worry about the delay. You have tons of time and most people won’t even be expecting a save the date so soon. Good idea to send it early though.

Now your making me want a stamp! We are sending ours out soon as well for Memorial Day Weekend 2012. Photos have been taken, proof is finally here and they will be ordered today! Hopefully will be out at least one year in advance. Necessary for the holiday weekend. As long as most everyone knows though you should be fine!
