Thanks for posting this… I also remain concerned about this.

No I agree, would love to know an update.  When the mods get a chance.

Hi ladies!  To be totally honest with you, the mod team has no idea of when an update might be released, as we are not included in these decisions.  The best that the mod team can do is direct your inquiries on this matter to help (at) weddingbee (dot) com.  We ourselves, much like yourselves, are also very curious about this topic, and are waiting just as eagerly as all of you to hear an answer!

Edit:  I said earlier that we are not included in *these* decisions.  I should say that we are not included in these *final* decisions!

@pengoala:  I am actually surprised to hear that the moderation team is not participating in the conversations… it would seem to me since you all field a lot of these requests, you would have valuable input to add here. I truly do hope these conversations are happening and it was’t just said as something to placate us in the time of high tensions and drama.

@google:  I should qualify my statement: the mod team was actually able to put in our two cents on the matter.  The discussions to follow after we weighed in, is what is unknown to us.  What we do know (which I believe is okay to share with all of you) is that all of our collective community input is being strongly considered.  We know that this is a waiting game, and hope that this will help, even if a little bit, to keep all of you clued in!

@futuremrsk18:  What this means is that everything we have already been discussing, Admin has heard, and that this thread and the boards should not be a platform for rehashing conversations everyone has already had.  We really should be sitting tight and waiting for an update from Admin – when there is something to update, they will let us know.

@futuremrsk18:

@pengoala:

Just for your edifice, the auto-response from [email protected] states,

“Thank you for contacting Weddingbee support.

If you have a support question directly related to:

WEDDINGBEE CLASSIFIEDS
BEING UNABLE TO POST TO OUR BOARDS

We will respond to you here shortly.

If your query is NOT related to the above two issues, please post
directly to our support forum at http://support.weddingbee.com/ – your
request will be evaluated in the support forum only, and will not be
supported here via email…”

I’ve sent a few emails to [email protected] because I don’t want my issue to be seen by everyone (thus drawing more attention to what I want removed), but haven’t received a response. I posted also in support to get a response from the help email address.

With conflicting messages from the auto response, and what

@pengoala:  advised in reply #5 above, can it be clarified if that is the proper email address to direct questions of this nature?    ****No snark intended, just trying to make sure I’m going through the proper channel****

@futuremrsk18:  Good thread, several of us would like to know the new policies. Hopefully admin will let us know soon!

@futuremrsk18:  I understand your frustration, but try to remember, Pengoala doesn’t have a say in how quickly decisions are released.  She was just trying to keep us updated on the behind-the-scenes goings on as she knows them.  Her posts made it pretty clear that the mod team put in some input, and now it’s above their heads.  Maybe you could contact Penguin directly (via her email or PM) if you want a specific timeline?

@pengoala:  Thanks for the clarification and I’m glad you got to add your opinion. I hope we get word from Penguin and the other admins sooner rather than later though. It would certainly help with perceptions relating to the favortism and avoidance concerns that were raised a few weeks back…
