Darling Husband is not military but works with them.  Where we are (Germany) there are no military doctors on our base so everyone (inc military) have to go on the economy.  And from what I understand, they do have co-pays and such which is a huge surprise to those used to using military docs.

We used a local dentist and almost all of our treatment was covered.  They said that Darling Husband needed a special treatment and our insurance covered barely any of it….I contacted them before I scheduled the appt and it’s not a necessity so he’s waiting.

Contact Tricare to see what is covered and ALSO if the bills are not in English, you will have to translate them for the insurance company. Since fluoride is not in the water here, they give it to you during normal teeth cleanings.  In the U.S. (at least for me) dentists don’t do it for adults so it was NOT covered by our insurance.  Hope that helps some!
