I use dove clinical strength. I have an issue with one armpit (weird, I know) and so I use it and it works wonderfully!

I’ve used Drysol: http://www.drysol.org/  They may not have that in the USA, but I’d ask at the pharmacy counter, becuase they’ll likely have something similar.

You put it on at night for a couple of weeks, and it essentially stops the sweating altogether.  I’ve also used it on my feet!

In highschool, I had this problem.  I went to the drugstore and got this stuff called “Mon-Ray”  You put it on at night, let it dry, and it works wonders!  You can still wear deodorant, but this stuff keeps you from having sweaty arm pits!  Mine was horrible!  Thank goodness I great out of it!!  Try it out…works great!

Found Secret Mineral and it works well. You have to look at the % zinc/aluminum oxide try to get as high as you can. I believe the one i have is the same % as prescription strength but costs less.

I sweat at the drop of a dime. I’ve tried pretty much every deodrant brand available at Target and the only one that’s really worked for me is Secret Clinical Strength.

I agree with the Drysol recommendation. It really keep you dry!

@deedledee19:  I agree with Drysol too.  I have hyperhidrosis, so it can be a big problem and drysol really works.  I also take glycoprrolate (you can get it from a dermatologist).  It is a pill that stops the sweating.  You can take it everyday, but I only take it on special occiasions.

@kswiftbride:  I second Certain Dri.  You apply it at night.  It’s the only thing that works for me.

Secret Clinical for Sensitive Skin! For whatever reason, any time I lecture or give presentations I sweat like it’s my job. I could literally get pit stains. (Ironically, I don’t sweat much at all when I play sports. Go figure. I guess lecturing is my sport?). Secret has made such a huge difference! I tried Dove Clinical and it didn’t work as well for me. What’s also helped is putting it on straight out of the shower, even if all I’m doing is going to bed. Also, applying at night (even if I didn’t shower at night). When I do get damp, it doesn’t smell and I don’t get as sweaty (I usually don’t get damp at all)

Clinical strength does not work for me.. I have nothing that I found that works… It’s really gross and embarrassing.

I was just going to do a post about armpits haha so glad this one came up!

Does anyone have an issue with discolored armpits or “skin tags”?  I have a hormonal imbalance (hair grows everywhere [chin, neck, chest, face, really dark on the armpits] and I can sweat under the arm while being freezing cold and I am so insecure about wearing strapless or sleeveless shirts because I really hate my armpits 🙁

I can shave in the morning and at night its prickly (armpits) again.. sometimes I think I have a man’s body the way my hair is so thick and dark and just urkes me

I use Dove or Degree but I use alot and it leave the white sandy crap on my pits..

Any suggestions to help with all of this? ><

Would tanning help the discoloration?  Any way to make the hair less noticable?
