Hard agree. That skin tone one looks like you forgot to take off a long line bra. No good at all.

White mesh by a mile, but I’d prefer the look with no lining

If you don’t like the dress without a lining that ruins the line of it, get a different dress.

The white works okay in the sample photo because she has a smaller chest. A sheer panel is never going to look great on your volume, especially as the dress stretches as the day goes on. I would embrace the cleavage or change the neckline.

@bridetobe1111:  Girk stop.๐Ÿ›‘  Screw modesty. That is fire. ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅI would go with nude.  So beautiful.  I think the plunging me liking counter balances the modesty of the dress.  If that makes sense. Honestly I would leave it be and do as the previous poster said and embrace the cleavage.  You look lovely.

@bridetobe1111:

Yes the double looks too dark l agree  , and l actually can’t see the point of the single nude mesh as it is as revealing as none , in effect.
That plunge is very low and revealing and if you are not comfortable with that then l think , reluctantly and understandably , this is not the dress for you .
I’m not quite sure what pp above means by the ‘plunge counterbalancing the modesty of the dress ‘ as it looks backless and pretty much sideless anyway. ( l think?) This is not a critical or judgemental comment by the way, l was just not sure what she meaning by modesty and wondering if you perhaps were happy with no/low back and not much side but felt the plunge pushed you into discomfort .

@bridetobe1111:  With a plunge as deep as this, I agree with you that the illusion lace will interfere with the lines. Without is revealing and less than flattering if I can be very honest here. Trendy or not, the style is not for everyone. Unfortunately you can’t have it both ways. I’d probably look into remaking the top or find an alternative.

@bridetobe1111:  hey I can totally understand the need to balance Mons vision with yours.  But honestly if it feels right to you go with it.  Trying to yield to my Moms opinion led me to buying three dresses only to return them later.  The dress I ended up with she doesn’t know about she will see it the day of.  ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…. In any event your gown is lovely as is.   Go with it.
