One word… CONFUSING !!

I was thinking marriage before he was.  Then he was thinking marriage, and then I wasn’t sure (Living Together is working for us).  Then we were on vacation, saw a Bride & Groom getting married on the beach in one of our favourite Destinations, and found ourselves BOTH talking marriage.  Then we were talking wedding details.

Then we were looking at rings.  Now I’m SEARCHING for MY RING (can’t find anything that is screaming my name… to take it home).

Now he is excited about the Wedding & Engagement (telling everyone).  And I am frustrated about the “non ring” situation.  He is calm about the non ring, says “Honey it’ll take some time no doubt for you to find something special, something that you LOVE, something that is so us… something you’ll want to wear forever… don’t worry what it costs, it costs what it costs… its all good with me as long as you love it”

Sweet.  But I am still confused by all the choices out there.

And once I do find the ring, do I get a real proposal ?  I soooo want a real proposal as I didn’t get one for my first Engagement / Marriage.

BEFORE when it was just I talking marriage things were less complicated… since he’s come onboard, things are tons more CONFUSING !!

Lol (although I guess one could say in a good way)

I feel like I’m always in a whirlwind, somedays I feel great, others I feel crappy, others I want to strangle him if he doesn’t stop talking about it!

When you’ve been waiting a long time, it’s like when something you’ve been really waiting for gets delayed, like a game/CD/movie. The first time, you’re disappointed, but still excited. Then it gets moved back again, and again. At a certain point you wonder if you’re even going to buy the game/cd/go see the movie at all because you’ve just lost all excitement for it.

Very anxious!  I hate it sometimes, even though I pushed it back a year (he wanted to do it this year, but I wanted to wait til next summer for school reasons).  And now he keeps teasing me, trying to throw me off of when he’s going to do it!  And for some reason, now that I’ve said next year, I am OBSESSED with ring shopping lol.

So incredibly in love and wanting to take the next step, but powerless at the whim of boyfriend and frustrated that I don’t have control…
