We’ve not yet been able to find any invitations that strike either of us. My sister is pretty talented with Photoshop (why did they never have Photoshop classes when I was in high school…) and thinks she could design something more along the lines of what my fiance and are looking for. My only major concern about this is printing them–I know we could DIY it totally at home but I am not patient (at least I know it, right?), and I’m afraid wrestling with the home printer will drive me up. a. wall. If we do our own design in Photoshop, where should we go to get them printed? Does Staples/Kinkos/Alphagraphics do that kind of stuff? Anyone have any experiences?

We used Kinkos forsome of the printing and they were great! Experiences seem to differ per branch, so I might send a test to a few store and see how it comes out. Good luck!

We also did our own invitations. We printed them at overnightprints.com. They did a fine job. I like it, the colors are great, and they are fast and cheap.
The first time we did it, we made a mistake in following the instructions on how to upload the files so the printed invitations (all 100 of them) turned upside down. We called their customer service and they agreed to re-print everything without additional charges, even though it was our fault. We received the corrected invitations in less than a week.
