Steph77: I would be totally irritated after your experience and her bad attitude! Ugh. You could call her out on it, at least to make yourself feel better. It’s not like you need anything from her at this point.

Honestly? I’d be annoyed too.
Maybe you have a future as a designer.

I’d be annoyed too. But GORGEOUS dress, so think of it as a gift from you to brides everywhere. I absolutely love it and you look stunning.

I’d be annoyed for about 4 minutes and then I would get over it. It started as her design and you were never given an expectation that she would make the dress only for you. It’s comoletely not worth carrying a lot of anger around over.

I would be pretty pissed, too. She basically used your dress as an unfinished prototype for something that ended up perfect in her standard line. She was also rude and unprofessional, to boot.
As PPs have said, I’m sure this would not have been a big deal if she’d been pleasant and professional during your experience, as well as acknowledged that the design came from a custom creation. I feel you, bee!

I’d be irritated by her posting my pictures without permission and being generally so hard to work with. I wouldn’t be too fussed about the dress being available to the public, though, because no one would ever see that dress for sale and form or change an opinion about your wedding dress. There are so many designers and dresses out there, and at the end of the day, all wedding dresses look about 90% identical to anyone who’s not in the process of planning a wedding.
That said, super pretty dress! Adding the pop of color was a lovely design element!
