ca09:  I wore the J Crew Janey flats. They are discontinued but I ordered two of same shoe in two colours (gold and pewter suede). I’m actually selling the pewter suede one in case you’re interested (in size 8 1/2).

ca09:  I do agree with your mum; I find I walk/hold myself differently in heels. However, you’re going to be even more limited looking for very low heels (unless you go up to 2.5ish inches) than you will be with flats, as it isn’t a very common/popular height.

I bought these for my upcoming wedding. They are comfortable, pretty, and has some bling. I love them!

They are Badgley Mischka and it’s called Melinda

Wear a kitten heel so you still get that lift and the dress doesn’t drag. I would also recommend you convince your fiancé into wearing a lift inside his shoe you can find them online for like $20 that way you guys aren’t stressing out over any height difference. You will both be standing tall in the pictures with great posture. The guy lifts are just plastic insoles. He can get 1/2 inch, 1 inch Nothing crazy but it makes a difference.

ca09:  Stewart Weitzman Poco Kitten Heel. It has clean lines and comes in a few colors. You can find them online. They tend to have a narrow toe box so just be mindful of that when trying them on. You may have to go up 1/2 a size.

sleepyhead22:  Yay, I’m glad you loved them!! I’m still waiting for the smaller size to come in… now I’m worried it’ll be too tight on me, too! My regular size was definitely too big, though. Do you have any pics of you in your shoes / detail shots? I’d love to see them!

missxmelon:  i don’t think my photographer realized how cute the bling on the heels was, because they never got a pic from the side. but here’s one of both my DH and my shoes! 🙂 I bet yours will fit fine- and if they are tight,  you can take them to a shoe repair place and they can stretch them easily!

I agree with the whole walking differently in heel heights! Personally, I walk best in 3.5-4 inch heels or flats. I love the smaller heel look, but when I have a heel that is 0.5-2.5, my walk is totally off! If you change your mind on flats, I’m going to secondly recommend Tieks! They are the most comfortable ballet flat I’ve ever owned and the sole of it is blue… so cute!
