ellagrace:  Jimmy Choos!! I have a few pairs and they are amazing to walk/dance in.

OmbreBee:  I second Jimmy Choo!! All of mine are incredible comfortable to walk, dance, and stand in. I also vouch for Christian Louboutin, but ONLY if you have the time to break them in. I hated mine at first, but now that they’re broken in they’re somewhat comfortable. I probably wouldn’t recommend them for a wedding day though 🙁

Jimmy Choos and Louboutins seem to be more comfortable for those with narrow feet, just something to keep in mind.

Louboutins are NOT comfortable. I didn’t find Choos that comfortable either. However, Valentinos and Giuseppe’s are two designers that I find comfortable and can walk around for hours here in the NYC area!

ellagrace:  do you like platforms? The Valdia are gorgeous! I’m not sure if they are still available but the Linda in champagne are really pretty and comfortable.

I also think you need to try some on for yourself and break them in. As you can see we will have different opinions. What’s comfortable for me may not be for someone else. I can do very high shoes and some women can’t at all. I don’t find wedges comfortable when most women love them.

gelaine22:  Loubies  are the worst. So pretty but unless you’re planning on sitting down most of time, I don’t recommend them at all.

ellagrace:  I know, I always wanted to wear Louboutins on my wedding day too. I sometimes wear them to work if I know I have a long meeting that day (aka sitting down all day!) but I can’t say they’d be a good choice for a wedding.

So disappointing!

ellagrace:  I’m generally a hot mess in heels, and I absolutely love the Choos that I got for my wedding! I’ve been wearing them around the house a bit to break them in, but they’re seriously pretty comfy. I went with the Lunas.

ellagrace:  Mr Louboutin said himself his shoes aren’t for comfort. They’re more for looks. I wouldn’t try and wear them for my big day unless I was used to them….

Jimmy Choos are quote comfy… And the only designer heel I’ve ever worn that hasn’t made me cry with every step by the end of the day. I also like the YSL tribute pumps as they are made a bit wider than the typical designer shoe. Christian Louboutin CAN be comfortable if you’ve given yourself enough time to break in the shoe, and rounded toes like the Bianca are a lot more comfortable than a Pigalle or a So Kate for long day wear.

Jimmy Choo!!! Maybe the most comfortable designer whose heels I own and the height doesn’t matter at all – these are 4 and 3/4 and I could probably run a marathon in them (sorry have the pic of these readily available) Jimmy Choo Lance is also fabulous and silver so maybe more wedding appropriate? They mostly run true to size although you should order half size up if your feet are a little wider. Also I find that no matter the designer if the shoe has a back it will be more comfortable than a complete sandal because it stabilizes the foot…
