Here is the Lance
Here is the Lance
Hi There – I am going to agree with others, I have found that designer heels are much more comfortable that non designer. Personally I like Jimmy Choo and Prada, I have large but narrow feet. Stuart Weitzman are a bit more affordable and also good, although the fit is not quite as good as Choos in my opinion. Here are some that I think would work for both wedding and non wedding:
ellagrace: Since your wedding is next year (is that correct?), I’d wait for the Jimmy Choo sale in December or Nordstrom’s designer sale in the summer. Most shoes that are not sold during the designer sale are sent to the Rack, so definitely check both.
I am not sure if JC has a sale mid-year but I love the end of year sale as they always have amazing shoes at great prices. I got the Linda in champagne for $360 in December. If you can’t find your size online, call the boutiques in your area as they may have them.
ellagrace: Drooling over those black ones
Starling2015: seriously, so disappointing!! I’m guessing I probably won’t go with CL’s for the wedding, and instead invest in CL black pumps that I can wear daily to work. I’ll break them in that way!
gelaine22: Damn CL for making his gorgeous shoes so painful for us!! lol
crackktheskyy: I will definitely check out the luna – thanks for the suggestion!
Theamerella: thanks for suggesting YSl’s. I hadn’t thought of them before, but I will add them to my great shoe search!
OmbreBee: thats such a great idea — why didn’t I think of the yearly sales, or checking out nordstrom rack?! thanks girl!
ps. so jealous you scooped up those lindas for such a great price! i can’t find those shoes anywhere, even at full price lol
ellagrace: I tried on tons of designers and found Jimmy Choos to be the most comfortable. I bought the “Lottie” and am super happy with them! The straps are wide and soft, and the colour (glitter gold, I believe) is bridal enough without looking like wedding shoes. I’ll definitely be able to wear them again! The “Lance” that you have above, however, was a total pain in the a$$ to get on and the straps were so stiff. Perhaps those would be better on a narrower foot. Good luck with your search!
