I tried every single designer you can think of (Jimmy Choo, Louboutin, Kate Spade, Manolo Blahnik) and thought they were all SO uncomfortable! And half of them looked like trashy instead of classy. $800 to look like a stripper and be in pain on my wedding day? Nooooo thank you.

I ended up with LK Bennett’s and I LOVED them. Towards the very end of the night my feet hurt, but I chalked that up more to being on my feet much longer than usual more than the shoes. Plus, I absolutely love Kate Middleton and happily told everyone that I had “princess shoes” since she is always photographed wearing that designer’s shoes.

Angela Nuran shoes are amazingly comfortable.  She’s a ballroom dancer who designs shoes now.  The bee Mrs. Waterfall wore them.

I also second the LK Bennett nomination above.  Most comfortable heels I own.

ellagrace:  I love Jimmy Choo, and the Loubs I have are also super comfortable. My Ginas are also really comfy; my Manolos less so, but still much better than my high street shoes. You really need to try on different designers, though

ellagrace: Those are VERY pretty. As they are not closed toe/peep toe shoes, I think they will not be as torturous as CL’s pumps!

ellagrace:  to me they run true to size. Aren’t you in Nj? Why don’t you just go and try some on? Neimans, Saks, Nordstrom, the CL store, Barneys, Bergdorf. Etc all have lots of pairs. You will get a much better idea vs asking all of us. Some say they run small but I wear a 36.5 in all of them and a 6.5 in cheaper shoes like Steve Madden, Cole Haan, Nine West, zara, etc.

ellagrace:  for something as big as your wedding shoes its worth it to get up and go to NYC. Saks there has a huge selection and so do many other stores like Barneys. There are also a few CL stores! OR u do have the time to order and return. It’s up to you.

Another vote for LK Bennett!  I wear them to work everyday and they are super comfy.  I’ve bought a sparkly pair in the same design as my work shoes for my wedding ๐Ÿ˜€
