Well, I have a quote and a date for the venue! 6th of October, it should be plenty of time but I’ve pm’d James already to just in case. I’ll keep you all posted! I can’t wait to see what they come up with, I just need to have a firm hand on myself or I’ll have the whole thing beaded and blinded up.

Haha, thanks! I used gimp. It’s the poor man’s (i.e., free and more primitive) photoshop!

Oh photoshop’s free – if you’re a student or willing to settle for a slightly older version. Still you’ve got great gimp skills, never picked up that particular program myself but now I find myself looking forward to what your
dream dress ends up looking like
I hope you share your images with us when it’s your turn!

Well, I sat at my computer for a while and came up with this:
So excited! Now that I’ve emailed I’ll probably keep my postings on the official Jasmine thread from now on. Thanks again for all your advice!

Ah now i see it! lol thats much clearer!
The only question I would have at this point is the lace at the waist – since you want to raise the skirt up to the narrowist part of the waist, do you want the lace to start just under the bust and end at the start of the skirt, or have the lace half on the bodice, half on the skirt or just have a thinner piece of lace? where would it start? how thick would you want it?
I can’t wait to see how it turns out!
