I’m not making one, although I really wanted to, but I came across this one once, and I thought it was really nice and maybe you could get some ideas from it! 🙂

We did this for our guestbook and it turned out great! Very nice keepsake. We actually did a small one 8×8,with about 20 pages total and I mixed/matched the pages so there was enough blank space for people to write. I had my family start it off, and explained they should sign it like a yearbook with some words of advice, etc instead of just signing their names. This was a great way to set the stage – so that others at the wedding saw examples of what to do and followed suit.

@gymdive22: We had 50 guests – so there was plenty of space in our book for each couple to sign. And some even both signed (like both the aunt and uncle) instead of just one per couple.

I did my photo guest book through Adoramapix (and LOVE IT)!  I did the 8×10 size and mine is 38 pages.  We’re expecting 175-200 guests.  I alternated the size of photos on each page and some pages are all white space. Here are a few of mine, as examples:

We had a 26 page guestbook for about 135 guests and had plenty of extra white space.

I had a 22 page 8×11 book and 180 guest.  I think I ended up wiht about 35 people/couples/family signing.  There was plenty of space for more people to sign.  I left about 50-75% of each page blank.

Heres my page layouts: sorry so small, but you can get a sense of white page/photo ratio

I bought mine through AdoramaPix. I think I got the 10×10 size. I used their format where 1 page is a photo (takes up the whole page), and the next page has lines for guests to sign. A few of the “signing” pages actually has a transparent photo behind the line. I used the not-so-favorite e-photos for the signing pages and the favorite photos for the regular pages (I had about 55 photos in total).

Adorama Pix is also great because they have a lay-flat binding. so no big curve in the middle of the book. It also allows for a few pages to have 1 big landscaped photo that lays across the two pages and looks great lying flat, no crease or line of demarcation.
