Vistaprint is pretty much always the least expensive option. If they don’t have a premade design that you like, make/download it yourself and then use the upload your own design option.

Maybe try reaching out to some shops on Etsy?

Good designers tend to be very expensive. I asked a designer friend what the rate would be to design a save the date and got a quote around $1,200 as well.

keeks6:  I got my design from Etsy and I used uprinting because I had a coupon and it was cheaper than vistaprint, But I used vistaprint for the STD and they were great. I paid $25 for the design and I Paid $75 to print 100 (invitations & rsvps) Then I ordered colored envelopes and they were $25 for the invites and $21 for rsvp I would look around if I were you….
