niki2015:  if you’re looking for something cost effective, try finding an independent seamstress or if you have someone altering your bridal gown, ask her/him to make you one. It’s likely a lot less and you can be part of the the design.

Try preownedweddingdresses dot com. You should get an ivory veil. I don’t think a beige veil would be flattering to the face. Dont get a white veil.  In photos, the camera finds the whitest thing in the picture and compares everything to it, meaning if you have a white veil, your dress will look much browner than it in photos even if the difference in real life isn’t much. Good luck! If u post a pic of ur dress ull get more responses.

I sell on etsy so thought I’d chime in with some advise.

Go on etsy and search for what it is you’re wanting. Check out where the shop is located (if you’re in the US, you probably want it shipped from the US to avoid higher shipping costs and customs charges) and if it’s not a ready made item, ask how long the veil will take to make and ship.

CHECK THE REVIEWS! You can contact the bride that left the review thru etsy and ask what her experience was really like.

Ask the shop owner for samples of their tulle and lace (some shops charge for samples).

Send the shop owner a message and tell them what it is you want – include a picture of the veil you tried on that you loved and if they can do something similar.

Contact as many shops as you can and wait for replies. From their reply, you’ll get a feel for the customer service you’ll receive once you order the veil.

Hope this helps 🙂

Have you ever thought about getting someting on Amazon? We are huge Amazon shoppers. Sure their veils come in baggies.. but hang it in the bathroom during a shower and it does wonders.
