@MandaMack: Yes, absolutely. Why waste perfectly good money? I’d rather save it for a bigger goal. Consuming for the sake of consumption seems pointless to me.

Sine you are really into fitnessy things lately, is there anything fitness-y that you could ask for? I have a Wii and WiiFit, and I have a lot of fun with that. Or maybe some super fancy shoes? 

Or maybe some hot new clothes since you have been doing so well? A nice “investment piece” like a jacket or a new bag?

My favorite birthday gift from Fiance was the first one he have me — he took me to wine country in Virginia and we stayed at a B&B for a night.  I understand wanting a tangible gift — but you can always pick up something from the trip.  For example, we have wine from our trip yet (almost 2 years ago), and it reminds me of our special weekend away. 

but if you want tangible, he also got me UGGs, and i love them!
