Ok, I think if I come up with a theme it will make things go much more smoothly. I’m sure this is just me being crazy but I can’t seem to get anything to “click” into place with this whole wedding!
So we are getting married in late summer. It will be at a historic site, B&B or something to that effect. Neither of us have an all consuming desire for sky diving or collecting snow globes…..
So what is your wedding theme?

A midsummer nights dream!
or in your case… a late summer nights dream lol

My theme is elegant 30’s- 40’s. Centerpieces will be black and white pictures aged in period dress. In a 1920’s Revival, blues and jazz music playing, martini’s and great food.

We don’t really have a theme. Or, I guess, if I had to come up with one, it would just be spring. Vibrant colors and simplicity.

We don’t have a theme. We’re actually preferring to not have one and just have it be us… I’m afraid a them would be too cheesy since I’d probably go overkill.

Yeah our theme is probably just us. But my dress is kinda 40s so there’s a little bit of that and a little Texas. It’s easier without a theme cause you aren’t blocked in by anything.

I am totally worried about the cheesy factor. Both of us love crosswords and I’ve had nightmares about a puzzled themed wedding.

I’m struggling with the same thing. I feel like it would help us tie everything together too and just make sense of everything. My fiance rides dirtbikes and I’m obsessed with our pugs – and since neither of those could in any way be turned into something cute, I’m left without a usable theme that sums us up.
What are your colors?
you just asked the million dollar question….
Finding a venue is our first step, which I am working and making progress. But I can’t seem to pick a color because the venue is still up in the air. And I haven’t picked any stationary because we don’t have a color. And without the color and the theme I don’t know if I want a day or a night wedding.

We don’t really have a theme, it’s more like we have undertones: Midsummer Night’s Dream, Victorian, and garden. I think it all kinda goes together! Those three are sorta lightly sprinkled throughout the ceremony & reception. I’ve enjoyed having those points of inspiration, sometimes it really helps with a block!

Our theme will revolve around little hints of the US Navy since FH is active duty sailor at the moment. We are going with more of a color scheme than a theme, but will have little trinkets here and there to bring in elements of the Navy, the ocean, etc.
