I am in serious need of help! I have straight hair that falls to just below my shoulders and I have no idea what to with it for my wedding, which is coming up in barely more than a month.
I have done two trial updos and was really unhappy with both of them, even though they were very different from each other. The first time, the stylist curled my hair and put it in a messy bun – it was a wreck. My hair really doesn’t hold curl, so it started falling out immediately. It also looked extremely messy – not a good look with the very simple, modern wedding dress I’ll be wearing. The second time, I asked for something simple and sleek. I ended up with a french twist (that sort of had a beehive vibe to it) that didn’t suit me at all.
I’m feeling incredibly stressed out, because I just don’t know where to go from here. I have always had short (less than chin-length) hair until the last two years or so, so I really have no idea what to do with my hair this length. Do you have any inpiration pictures you could share? I would really appreciate it!

I’ve actually had my hair put into updos twice with similar length hair. In these cases, bobbie pins were my best friends (I had more than 50 each time). It actually made my hair look super long, when it really was only shoulder length.
I tried to pull out some pictures of it for you, but I didn’t get any good ones of the back of my head.
One was like this though:
Don’t freak out about how long your hair is. There is PLENTY that a hairstylist can still do for you at the length you have.

I have fairly straight, thin hair (and LOTS of it) so I was unsure of what to do with mine as well. Thinking of opting for a half-up/half-down do with extensions. Is that an option for you at all? I didn’t want to post this bee’s picture, but I found this awhile ago… (the blonde)
wedding hairstyles for fine/thin hair?!
Here’s another thread with some ladies sharing their inspiration/day of half-up/half-down
Share your half up / half down dos!
I was initially wanting an updo similar to this one too:

or just pulled sleek half back like on the right, with a beautiful large barret or headband?

could also do something like this , the curl is pinned to place so you wouldn’t have to worry about it falling out
