There were a few mishaps that went wrong, but nothing that really ruined the day. It rained so we had to have the ceremony inside on the dance floor which made it cramped, but it was still so amazing.
We wrote out own vows and I got so choked up it too me a while to get my breath. We got married in front of the fireplace.
I made the unity candle that you see in this picture. FHs sisters were candle bearers and carried the other two up the aisle. They had ribbon and peacock feathers on them. The three were so cheap and easy to make! The black dot design was an applique from Michaels.
We got the candle holders for so cheap at Christmas Tree Shop after Christmas sale. I think I paid 50 cents for each.
My mom got a little necklace for our puppy. She was with me getting ready, but not at the wedding
Some of the details…
Our Florist did a better job than the inspiration pictures I gave him. It was so fun and creative. I wanted something whimsical that had texture and visual intrigue. He also did the alter pedestal items. I dont have pictures of the table centerpieces yet from the professional photographer.
Their socks matched my shoes, but I dont have that picture yet either.
And finally a few bridal portrait pictures
I cant wait to see all the final pictures. I only received a few from the photographer.

Oops I forgot to mention that it was a “cocktail” reception. There were passed apps and station tables open for 2.5 hours so people could eat or dance when they wanted. There were not formal seating plans and most people didnt really even sit the entire night, but mingled and danced. Exactly how I wanted it- to be a party!
The first hour had a piano player (friend) so it was more like a cocktail low key hour and then the DJ came on. We did a cake cutting ceremony with a small cake, but the dessert was a petite dessert buffet table with no wedding cake. Quite a few people commented on how they loved that we didnt serve the cake and they got to choose their dessert.

And a few more detail pics from my sisters camera. There were two table sizes.
And we didnt do programs, instead we did a chalkboard with peoples names. (we tried to not to a lot of paper anything. Our Out of Town bags were canvas bags I found online that were cheaper than gift bags!

Very pretty! I love how you added some of your own creative touches. Also love your Frenchie! I used to have one but had to give her away when I moved in with my Fiance. Congrats on your wedding!
