I’m confused, do you want a recipe for something like pecan bars or do you want dessert ideas for a dessert bar?

well here’s the pecan bar recipe I use, I just omit the citrus zest and replace it with a 1/2 tsp of vanilla paste http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/pecan-squares-recipe/index.html

Cream puffs, or mini eclairs, (my personal fave), these are time consuming though, and I think store bought ones from Costco work fine, but here is the pate a choux recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/sweet-or-savory-pate-a-choux-recipe/index.html and the pastry cream recipe http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pastry-cream-2/detail.aspx?event8=1&prop24=SR_Thumb&e11=pastry%20cream&e8=Quick%20Search&event10=1&e7=Recipe%20Search%20Results

I think your favorite cookie recipe would work or maybe cupcakes/cake pops (I hate cake at a dessert bar because it always makes a mess).  For the really fancy stuff (cannolis, napoleons, etc) I’d probably just check your local bakery.  I would think anything small and bite sized would be a hit.  I totally just made myself hungry.
