Smores bar is great! I am personally so tired of cupcakes, but that’s not just at weddings, that’s just…everywhere.

I saw a popcorn bar on Pinterest the other day that looked interesting. Not really dessert (unless you do Kettle Corn too!), but supe fun, unexpected and VERY budget friendly!

I think it sounds awesome as long as everyone isn’t waiting for 2 hours to make a smore

I’m a very easygoing guest who likes whatever people want to feed me, but as long as your venue is on board with a smores bar, that’s likely something people will enjoy and not have seen before (despite its prevalence on wedding sites).  Only issue might be if it’s an actual fire, and I was in a party pooper mood, I might not be happy to get my formal wear all smoky smelling.  I’d likely just recruit someone who appears to enjoy cooking more than eating to make me one though, to get my hands on some of that sweet goodness…

I love the idea of a smores bar… and someone said a sundae bar which I might have to steal that idea.

I’ve always wanted to have a cheesecake bar (have different flavors and different toppings like raspberry sauce, chocolate sauce, fresh berries).  I’d do little mini cheesecakes in graham cracker tart shells.

Now I’m getting hungry for sweets 🙂

We’re doing a variety. Single-serving (4oz mason jars — yes, mason jars. I like them. Always have. Didn’t know they were popular until I came here) apple pies and pumpkin pies. 8oz jars for chocolate cream pie. Various flavors of cupcakes, a small cake cake, and individual size chocolate cheesecake, white chocolate cheesecake and lemon zest cheesecake. It’s going to be a busy couple of days of baking next week, but it’ll be SO worth it!

Smores would be really fun, a good way to get people talking and having a good time. Cupcakes are great too but not as original. I would be happy with either/both.
