Mine is still in the works… I got my apothecary jars and larger vases from discount stores like Ross and Marshalls.. martha stewart cake stands were given to me off my registry.. most everything I already had.  This is the mock set up I have of it..I’ll be renting the tablecloths so they’ll match.  I’m planning on getting the bulk of my candy day or two after valentine’s day when they’ll be 75% off.. it’s great because my colors already include pink.  We are also having cookies, cupcakes, truffles, french macarons, and a croquembouche tower on the buffet.  Great thread/post ..I’d like to see candy/dessert buffet ideas too!

Me too!!!!  I’m so stoked about doing this!  There is a GREAT bakery in our neighborhood that Fiance and I love and we are just going to go get a couple arms full of stock cakes, cheesecakes, brownies, and blondies from there!!!  Just need to know how to get diff stands and dessert plates w/out it being uber expensive or as much as a traditional wedding cake.  Great post idea!
