My dessert table opened  after the cake was cut.

We didn’t put our cake on the dessert table, but I would hope most people would leave the dessert table alone until the cake was cut! I was worried they wouldn’t so our cake was on a seperate table.

busybeetz15:  We had an app/dessert reception, the table was ‘open’ from the moment that people entered. No one touched the cake, and the table didn’t look ‘picked through’. Plus, when our photog did our cake cutting pics, it was us and the cake, the rest of the table wasn’t really in the pictures.

busybeetz15:  people were on their best behavior I guess. The dessert table was set up in a corner, so people would have had to pass their tables at the reception to get to it. it was a non issue. See it in the upper right corner?

busybeetz15:  I’m going to have my wedding cake separate from my dessert table . Just to make sure that nobody eats it before we have a chance to cut our cake . 😃
