I’m trying to get an idea of how many desserts I should make per person or total. We are thinking that probably 120 guests will be at the wedding and since we aren’t serving wedding cake, we will be having a little dessert bar for our guests.
As for desserts I was thinking about making the following:
Rice Crispy Treats
Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sticks
Salted Caramel Cheesecake Bars
Cookies (probably 3 different kinds to choose from)
Is this enough or should I add more? And how many of each should I be making? I don’t want to end up with a ton of extras (It wouldn’t be that bad though 😉 who doesn’t love extra desserts? haha)

Sounds delicious! Not sure about serving sizes but I know several bees have talked about doing dessert bars…hoping one of them can help!

@Gemstone: Thanks! I hope someone can help, if not, I’m sure I’ll figure it out 😛

My dessert caterer said 3-4 pieces per person. But I’m doing less because we are serving a full meal and appetizers and a snack, and most of the treats are a single serving size, not a “mini.”

ditto what @Americano: said. i would figure 3-5 pieces per person. especially if you have serveral options, someone may want to try a little bit of everything. you can maximize amount by keeping the sizes small, like little mini bite size desserts.
