Hi all! I have an issue. I thought about my bachelorette party and I decided I don’t want to do the traditional “go to the beach/casino/club and get drunk for a weekend” thing, it’s just not my style. I decided I want to do something I’ve been dying to do for a while, which is go to Harry Potter world! All of my bridesmaids think it’s a great idea and are so excited! The only issue is of the people who will definitely be invited are my sister-in-law and two future sister-in-laws. Two of those three have little kids and as my sister-in-law has already stated they wouldn’t feel right coming to a theme park without bringing the kids (especially because by the time we go the kids will be just old enough to enjoy it). I completely understand, if I had children I’d feel the same way. But obviously this is my bachelorette party and I do want to do at least a little bit of the night life while I’m in FL and that means that my brother and my fiance’s brothers will be invited as well (to watch the kids). Again, I really don’t mind them coming, but once all of the family starts coming that means that my parents will want to come as well and we might as well start inviting grandparents and cousins while we’re at it and then it just starts to get out of control. I love my neice and nephew (and soon to be new neice or nephew!) and I would love for them to come, it just seems that once the kids come so follows the rest of the family. How do I go about this?
I still really want to go to Harry Potter world but I’m not sure how to go about the whole bringing the children thing. How would you deal with it?
