Hello Florida Bees! I will be planning a small enagament brunch or lunch party in or near Boca Raton for the early fall, but I’m over here in New Jersey. We have several older relatives that may not be able to travel up for the wedding next year, so we wanted to find a way to celebrate with them down there. I’m not exactly sure how large the guest list will be but I’m estimating somewhere between 10-30 people.
The main caveat is that besides being satisfying for all the omnivores, there must be menu options for my vegan self and vegetarian fiance. We were looking at Farmer’s Table, but my aunt who lives down there is not a fan – and her and my uncle are two of the main guests we’d like to appease as they won’t be coming next year due to his health restrictions. I have also started looking into Seasons 52. Any opinions on that? If my aunt is also not a fan, any other recoomendations in the area that can meet our dietary restrictions?

Hey there, local(ish) bee to that area. Seasons 52 is lovely! If you’re looking for something a little more on the funky side, I’d suggest Rebel House. They have a small private seating space off to the side and their brunch is phenomenal. Their menu is always changing so I’m not 100% sure what they’d always have. Fi’s sister is vegetarian and she loves the food there
There are lots of nice places in Delray Beach, such as Park Tavern. Mizner Park in Boca also has nice places, such as Yard House, which has a very diverse menu. We’re very chill so I’m not sure if all of these spots are quite the elegant feel you’re going for, but they’re delicous for sure!
If you’re willing to go further south, Sublime in Fort Lauderdale is amazing. It’s vegetarian/vegan. As an avid meat eater, I still left Sublime very full after dinner, the spicy cauliflower was our favorite!
