@fortunecookie09:  Yuppers! I’m having a Destination Wedding well well call it a Weddi-Moon in Rio de Janeiro and its been painful at times but I’m hoping it will be all worth.

Some of our pros: we get to go to an amazing location, we get city and beach life –  we’re hitting the sexiest beach in the world, the food, the culture, cost effective (better than having it in NYC!) and a serious break we all (us and our guests) desperately need.

Our cons: not speaking the language (Portuguese is similar to Spanish but sooooooooooooooo different), the laid back-I’ll get to it when I can vibe/attitude, that long ass plane ride, not being able to be hands on to ensure its executed to my standards.

Overall I truly believe it will be amazing (I mean its Brazil!) so I’m putting all my stress on our wedding planners and preparing to have a good tme. 141 days to go!

I had a destiantion wedding in Cuba. Best trip ever! Had 70 people join us for a week and it was a great time! We got a travel agent that specialized in weddings and that made everything alot easier
