I am in the very early stages of planning for my Destination Wedding. The all inclusive resorts i’ve looked up so far have very expensive bridesmaids bouquets that won’t be in the budget 🙁
I love flowers and can’t imagine the girls having anything else, but can’t spend $80+ each for a bouquet for them.
What did you do for your DW? Anything other than flowers?

Are you allowed to bring in fake bouquets? You could do button bouquets, real touch floral bouquet, ribbon or paper bouquets. Check out etsy.com they have millions of examples for alternatives.
Anotehr idea is to us parasols or clutches instead? or even fans or paper lanterns?

You can bring your own.. Try Etsy vendor “Flowers by the Vase”. I am taking my own to a Sandals vow renewal in Jamaica.

Where is your DW? I’m sure you can find a florist off-site that will do it cheaper. Also, consider real touch bouquets.

I was on a very tight budget for my wedding too. So what I did was have my bridesmaids only hold a yellow lily, which is what I had in my bouquet it made it a lot better then a whole bouquet. The florist even wrapped my tartan ribbon around each of the stems. I did have a mini bouquet for my daughter.

Sigh, I can’t believe I’m going to share my craziness in a public forum but here goes.
When we first got engaged we thought we wanted to get married on a beach (a life-changing vacation to Europe changed that idea). My Fi wanted to get married in the sand right at the water’s edge. I however, am a shoe FANATIC which naturally makes my wedding shoes the most important shoes I will ever buy. The thought of being barefoot & not being able to wear the most perfect wedding shoes I could find was heart-wrenching…so I came up with a different idea.
Allow me to introduce you to the “Shoequet.” This photo is as close as I can find to my idea. My girls and myself included would carry our incredibly fabulous shoes (all different colors) down the aisle by the heel for all of our guests to see. I would have attached a few loose blooms to the heel with a ribbon or binding of some sort.
If you can’t swing any flowers at all, you could always try a shoe with a beautiful floral embellishment like this:
Don’t think I’m crazy…if you knew me it would make complete sense! Good luck!

I too could not afford Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets so I made them and the cost about $4 each
