@Ms. Blue:  Our budget was about 10,000 for the Destination part of our wedding (we are also doing an at home reeption). We will be pretty close to that! Our resort/package gave us a free trip if 20 people booked so that helped! We are also travelling at prime time so our trip portion was more expensive (flying out on Dec 26 and returning Jan 5). Our total cost includes our trips, photographers trip, photography package, resort wedding package, resort decor package, DJ and private reception package, grooms attire and excursion for our guests. Hope that helps!

10,000 as well.  This includes our flights (we are using airline miles), wedding bands, attire (replica dress, studio suits for gm and fh) flowers, photographer flights + hotel, food, cake and drink for 30, guitarist, mento band, officiant, a 3 hour catamaran cruise the day before, and decor.  We are not doing favors since we are doing the catamaran cruise, but if I have the inclination, I will make Out of Town bags. 🙂  We are also renting a private villa that has two beaches for 7 days which is about 4,000 but 8-10 family  members will be staying there (including me until the night of the wedding) and paying for it and we will be having the reception/ceremony there.

We are around 10000 usd. This is 7 days in Jamaica, the wedding, and a home reception.  I cut costs in some areas like our friend is the photographer so we didn’t have to include it. The wedding was free with the stay. Im paying for a private reception and the florist.

Mine will be about $25,000.
This does not include honeymoon. We are waiting about 6 months before we go to Europe (we want to do 2-3 weeks in Europe so my Fiance won’t be able to take off 2 weeks for the wedding then another 2 for honeymoon).

I would budget a little more, I found that flowers were SO much more than I had expected.  And I also paid for a wedding planner to coordinate pastor/legal paperwork and set up which I didnt originally budget for.  I stopped keeping track of every single wedding expense because it became overwhelming.

Without rings, attire, travel or invites/STDs our wedding in Turks & Caicos was $32k for 45 guests.  That includes day of only expenses like rentals, caterer, alcohol, planner, florist, guitarist, cake.  It really depends on your venue, hopefully you can find something you like where you can get everything in one place!

I’m thinking between 5 to 7k for our budget. This includes honeymoon and rings too

Ours was 8k not including rings. We ended up spending 12k not including rings. We had 20 guests and stayed for a week in Mexico.

Our total budget was $12,000 broken up this way:

$4,000 – our trip

$4,000 – our parents’ trips (we paid)

$4,000 – wedding related costs

We didn’t spend too much on the wedding stuff. That included the all wedding attire, rings, invitations, Save-The-Date Cards, flowers, officiant fees, ceremony costs, cake and semi-private reception. We only had like 10 guests and did not do a private reception or have a DJ.

We are doing a cruise and paying for the bridal party’s cabins. It looks like it is going to be around 18K not including the rings. We did splirge on the dress, 3K, and on a suite for us, 2K. But wnd the end it will still be cheaper than the land based wedding would have been in my home town.

our budget was initially $10 000.  Including our AHR (which was actually just under $1000), we spent a total of $15 000. So yes we went over, but i had just picked a “budget” without thinking through everything I wanted to include, so I don’t really regret it and we managed (barely) to pull it off.  Yes, looking back, there are definitely some areas I could have saved. But to stick to $10 000 would have meant some major sacrifices which I would not want to do. Sooo….no regrets  🙂   I still think $15 000 for a Destination Wedding that includes the wedding day costs plus 10 days in Jamaica for two people is not bad.  It wasn’t “just one day”, it was 11 days, lol.

I am getting married in Saint Martin in June 2013. My estimated budget is 25,000. That includes private villa for 7 days, attire, all of the wedding decor, liqour , food , photographer, dj, welcome bags. The most expensive thing on the list was the villa, about 9k!!
