I think it really depends on if YOU want to!

I don’t plan on wearing my dress at the “back home reception” (mainly becuase I did not want a back home reception…another story for another time) but the official reason I am giving is (1) I am wearing my mom’s dress, and my younger sister plans on wearing it in the future, so the less chances I have to spill something on it, the better and (2) I am sure I will gain weight on the Honeymoon and I don’t want to have to stress about fitting into the dress when I get back home.

Sure πŸ˜‰ As long as you feel comfortable in the dress! There is no rule that you can only wear it for ceremony.

Do it! I wore mine for the first few hours of our party then switched to a cocktail dress. All my guests said they really liked that we wore our wedding attire so they could see.

@lorie:

If I had a dress like that I would be wanting to wear it all the time! It’s so pretty.
