How are your guests getting to the location? Are you paying for any of their travel/lodging costs? I wouldn’t be able to get 50 of my friends and family to fly out to Punta Cana.

We’re having a destination wedding for around 30 in Maui, HI. We are estimating that it will cost around 11,000-12,000 for ceremony, reception, and paying for some of their hotel fees (not an all-inclusive resort).

For our wedding day, including both our trips for the week and everything wedding related such as dress, food, open bar etc.. we’re looking at aorund 20k for 30 guests. But we’re at a high-end resort in Cancun. We booked through a travel agent specialized in destination weddings too and she got us a great deal on our trips. It’s worth doing the group booking.

My budget for my Destination Wedding in Mexico is about 20,000 and this includes almost everything. Dress, travel, extra week, wedding, reception, at home reception, photography etc. A lot of people do a seperate budget for wedding vs. travel.

Our Destination Wedding was about 7k for everything wedding related (including dress, invitations, etc.). We had 12 people at the ceremony/reception and we spent an additional 6k on our all inclusive honeymoon.

We didn’t get married at a resort, but used a wedding planner and got married on a beautiful very private beach.

I forgot to add my budget is for about 50 people, my costs  for the guests include food and drink only as the decor is a set price.

We’re doing an all inclusive destination wedding. Total it will be about $15000 not including our stay, but we’re also coming back and having a reception at home so really the destination part of the wedding will only be about $5000.
