Since it’s still almost a year away, you have time to wait. I would suggest though, that when you do find a “good deal” go ahead and book. The prices fluctuate a lot so there is no way to really know when they will be the lowest. I think you can check out kayak and it will let you look at the last 30 days, or what the prices may look like in the next month or something like that.

I have nothing constructive to add, other than to say that I’m suprememly jealous. I keep trying to find a cultural exchange to Cuba and it never works with my course schedule.

My sister just got married there in March at the RIU varadero in Cuba. The food was REALLY bad, and the staff were really awful to deal with regarding the wedding.. we were told they were to be married at the pool and it would be private, however it wasnt. There were fellow guests sitting two feet away smoking and taking pictures and swimming behind the bride and groom just watching and taking pictures. We also only got the venue untill ten, we even tried to pay them to extend the time and they would not budge. I would suggest checking out another resort, the Alberostar right beside it we kept hearing from other guests was amazing! Check out the reviews on trip advisor.
