Florida would be the cheapest, especially if you Miami but the Keys are much nicer.  My second choice would be the Caribbean.  Hawaii is expensive no matter how you do it so many guests would probably be unable to attend based on the costs.

Key West would be my pick.  A friend of mine rented out a B&B, got married on a yacht, and then had the reception at the B&B.  He did his at the Chelsea House but I thought the other properties looked nice too.  http://www.historickeywestinns.com/the-inns/

Florida would probably be your best bet if money is a concern.  My fiance and I are eloping to Hawaii and there’s definitely nothing cheap about it.  Otherwise, I think you should just have the winter wedding.  I’ve seen some BEAUTIFUL winter themed weddings. And if your dad is undergoing chemo or radiation, you really don’t know if he’ll be feeling up to the trip.

@yanamari:  We got married in St Thomas on a roof top terrace overlooking the ocean and then we went down to the beach for pics afterwards

St thomas is still considered US so the nice thing is that cell phones still worked there and we had some guests that didn’t have passports so that was nice bc they didn’t need one to come

We got married at Sugar Bay Resort and Spa in St Thomas. It was an all inclusive resort

This was the day of the wedding

We then went down to the beach for pics after the wedding
