I’m interested to see what people say.  You already know I’m doing one in Maui too and not going there!  It’s a bit scary, but I can’t afford it.

i had a Destination Wedding in Jamaica and there was no way i could afford to visit it beforehand. i just went off reviews etc.  it mostly worked out great, i actually wished i took the reviews more seriiously, because i was not entirely happy with the beach i ended up getting married on, and some of the reviews had said it was kinda small…

I haven’t had mine yet, but I am not going to check it out beforehand. I am trusting my wedding planner as well as reviews and pictures that I came across when researching.

Hey fellow Maui Bees!    I’m planning an Oct Maui Wedding and went there in early May

to select all of my vendors.     Harder to do things over the phone,  but if you need some

recommendations,   let me know!     I’ve done lots of research and made many phone calls,

and have met many vendors.     Best of Luck!

@amorrow:  Where in Maui are you holding your wedding?  I’m still looking for a place!
