Hi Everyone!! 🙂
There’s barely anyone on the Napa/Sonoma weddingbee site so I thought I would try the Chicago one! I’m planning a wedding in California from Chicago and was just wondering if anyone was doing the same thing! 🙂 Let me know! Congrats everyone!!

@blau925: I’m got married at Jacuzzi Vineyards in Sonoma in July. It’s a beautiful vineyard and everyone we worked with was SO helpful. We just had a small destination wedding with immediate family only, so the vineyard contracts out to Wine Country Elopements and they take care of EVERYTHING (flowers, guitarist, food, cake, photographer etc… I just have to show up with my dress!) This option worked out best for us since we live in a different state and would be unable to handle a lot of the planning from home. I’m in love with our pictures from our photographer, Ken Viale, and the Jackie of Wine Country Elopements has so many connections that she made everything absoltuely perfect. Let me know if you have other questions that I can try and answer! Good luck!

@blau925: I’m not a Napa or Chicago bride, but we honeymooned in Napa and loved it! We stayed at the Avia in downtown Napa and it was fantastic. Where are you staying? We also loved our time at Silver Oak, Schramsberg and Jarvis wineries. Bottega is my favorite restaurant in the world (it’s in Yountville) and we really loved Rutherford Grill, Mustard’s and ABC Bakery.

@soonerpsych: I love Rutherford Grill! My favorite casual restaurant! I’ve always wanted to go to Bottega. Do you know if they do private events there? I was thinking about having my rehearsal dinner there. 😉
We’ve rented a house for the week of my wedding. Exciting! I love Avia. It’s so pretty! We did a room block at the Vino Bello Resort, which I really like too! I’ll have to check out Mustards and ABC Bakery. Would you recommend any of them for rehearsals?
