Okay, so this is how I would do it, but it doesn’t mean it’s what fits best for you. I would go to Florida so more people would be able to attend. However, if you’re family/friends are decently well off and could afford to make the trip, then by all means go the more expensive route and pick what you love :).

I beg to differ about AMI, FL not being drop dead gorgeous!  I’m getting married there in December.  Have you ever been?  We’ve been twice and here are some of my fav scenic photos:

water is crystal clear, so here are some fishies swimming by!

view from in the ocean looking onto the shore…

AMI is one of my favorite places to visit… While we were there a few weeks ago, we met people from Canada and Europe who say they travel there often because of the scenery!  That’s got to give it some credit!  I can’t wait for our wedding – it’s going to be great!

@ppplll6: Bottom line is that the more difficult/expensive your choice, the fewer people will attend. (Sometimes that’s the goal of having a DW! LOL) So here’s what I would recommend:

1 – Make a list of all the people you and your Fiance absolutely, positively MUST have at your wedding.

2 – Let them know your first choice, and see if they hesitate or if they are fully on board.

If they’re all on board, go for it. Just remember that anyone else you invite, and decides to come, should be considered a bonus, and resolve not to be disappointed if it’s just your must-have list!

If they’re not willing to commit to your #1 choice because of the expense or any other reason, then I would get their thoughts on your other choices and take it from there.

    Good luck!
