- Wedding: June 2013
I thought wording would be simple, but now that it has come time to think about it, I’m realizing it’s not! I’m having a destination wedding with only close family. Two months later I will be having an at home reception, where all friends and family are invited.
Here are my questions:
1.) For the Destination Wedding wedding people, I was going to include AHR invitation with it, an “invitation packet” if you will, and include both places on the RSVP. (ex. -Will attend DH – Will attend AHR – not attending……nice than that, but you get the idea)
Is that etiquette?
2.) For the Destination Wedding wedding people, their AHR invitation was going to be worded something like:
Mr. and Mrs. Doe
have the honour of announcing the marriage of their daughter,
Jane Doe to John Doe
on Monday, June 10, 2013
The couple was joined in marriage in a beach ceremony in Beachtown, USA
Please join them for a reception celebrating their union on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Nice Park
Thoughts, opinions, comments? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
