I just wanted to share some of the detail/decor shots from my wedding as I used the bee relentlessly for inspiration during my planning process!
My grandma and aunt collected all the china plates from their own collections and thrift stores. I DIYed the menu. The beeswax candle favors (I’m a beekeeper) were made locally and I hand wrote each tag (even though I have terribly messy handwriting).
My friends and I made the centerpieces using glassware collected by my family – terrariums (with geeky touches) and artificial/paper flower arrangements.
The paper hops flowers were one of my favorite touches since we love craft beer and incorporated it throughout the wedding:
Dinosaurs in a terrarium:
Ron and Hermione had to make an appearance:
Each centerpiece was a combination of terrariums, flower arrangement and candles:
View of the tables:
The view from our sweetheart table:
Game of Thrones nod on our cake table – we used a sword to cut our cake and had Daenaryus and Khal figurines sitting on the cake table:
Mantle decor (in background of most dancing pics) – hurricaine lanterns, lace doilies, candles
Koozies that were a hit with our friends and family (know your guests and what they like):
Bubbles at the ceremony:
And our flower girl with her decorated John Deere wagon (DH is from the country):
Okay, I think that is enough photos. There are so many more but this gives a good overview 🙂
