Does anyone have examples of their details card? I definitely want to include accommodations & parking info …but should I also include a little road map for the reception? Like the times for the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing? We don’t have a reception card since our ceremony and reception are at the same place. Not sure if that’s overkill though?
P.S. we dont have a website either

We had a little map card but our wedding venue was pretty far out in the middle of nowhere. The area was so rural that most of the time google maps can’t find it. We also had a code for the gate that was on the map cards.
I can’t remember if we had a card with the hotel info on it, but we did direct people to our website which had hotel info.
If you aren’t doing a website, it might be helpful for your guests to have all of that information in their invitation.

We put all our information on the back of the invitation. Here’s what it looked like:

I know you said you don’t have a website, but maybe considering doing one??? They’re free and super easy. Then you can simply include a small card directing people to your website for more information. Also, a lot of hotels will give you a link for guests to make reservations under your wedding block/special rates. We are printing business card size cards that say “Please visit our wedding website for more information” and then listing our website address. The business cards are really cheap to print online.

We’re also not doing a website; I think they’re unnecessary for the type of wedding we’re having (local to most guests, standard Saturday afternoon ceremony/evening reception, etc). I don’t have examples of our details cards, as we haven’t ordered them yet, but we’re just including one about accommodation – and only because our venue offers accommodation (we wouldn’t have mentioned it otherwise). Our venue isn’t overly difficult to find, but if it was a map would be a good idea (a friend of ours did this, as Google Maps comes up with the wrong location for some reason).

+1 to this. You are going to be spending a lot in postage if you include all of that in your invites. The website is super easy (I’m using the knot) and we just included a little blurb about “visit website for more details at _____” on the back of the RSVP cards.
