Yooper Bars are chocolate bars shaped like the U.P.!!! But they are made with yummy local Sayklly’s chocolate. They’re kind of a big deal up here!

I love these ideas- especially the Oberon!

I’m putting together welcome baskets for our Out of Town guests. My entire family is from Nebraska, and have not really experienced Michigan all that much. So we’re really doing it for them.

To be included: Sanders hot fudge (love anything Sanders, especially their Bumpy Cake), Better Maid potato chips, Faygo and Vernors, Mackinac Island Fudge (my favorite), Germack pistachios … and maybe a couple other things. We’re just brainstorming at this point.

Fiance and I love Michigan, and specifically Detroit, so we’re trying our best to show our family and friends a great time in the D! (Or near it, anyway!)

Sounds like a great giftbag, Jess Lynne.  I always think it’s funny when people not from Michigan drink Vernors.  They almost ALWAYS cough immediately afterwards! 😉
