Personally.. I would wait until you are actually pregnant. He may feel different when you are actually expecting, and it will be good to have that information fresh when you actually will be becoming pregnant- plus you can meet other soon to be parents.
I’d wait until you’re actually pregnant, it will seem more real to him then, and less hypothetical/abstract.
It sounds like he feels like he doesn’t have much free time and is reluctant to spend 2 evenings in the class. I also wonder if maybe he is a bit less on board with the idea of having a baby than you are?
I don’t know if there are any good podcasts or audiobooks on the topic, but perhaps you could suggest that as an option. He could listen to it during his commute.
