I’m not pregnant but a friend of mine just had a baby. I was looking through her photo album and Darling Husband happened to be looking over my shoulder while I was looking at her 3D ultrasound photo. He freaked out. He said, “Ewww, turn it off.” LOL
He is creeped out by those photos. He’s fine with the regular ultrasound but the 3D ones he says “isn’t natural.” He said he “shouldn’t be able to see skin.”
Yeah, we already had the baby talk and we want kids. We even have a girls name and boys name picked out already and we are always talking about how we would want to raise our own children.
I’m hoping he’ll change his mind about them when we have our own children. Or maybe, I’ll make sure he doesn’t see them. haha
Anyone elses SO find them weird? Or is it just my husband?

Well I am pregnant and I am totally creeped out by them! I don’t know why, but I have to agree that it not natural. I’m fine with regular ones, it’s just something about these.
When Darling Husband and I went to our first pre-natal appointment they handed us over a book that was nothing but 3D/4D u/s pictures during EVERY stage of pregnancy. The women kept saying “Isn’t this so cool?!” Darling Husband and I left saying “isn’t that book so creepy?”. I think it might be the transparent skin and alien looking eyes in the early stages that turned us off to the idea….
Please tell me I’m not the only mom-to-be that is weirded out by these?

A friend of mine on facebook posted those and I didn’t even know that they existed until then. I was definitely creeped out by them lol They are just different, but I’m sure that the parents are excited to be able to see their babies so well.

I’m creeped out by them, too. My sister is pregnant and sent me a bunch of hers, to which I replied, “Awww…you’re having an alien.”
They just look so strange to me.

Ours looked kinda creepy and ended up looking nothing like our daughter!

Okay, I hope I don’t offend any mothers. But all the babies in the 3-D ultrasounds look similar or the same, like I can’t tell the difference between them?

Oh, count me in the “pregnant but still grossed out by ultrasound pictures” camp. But then, everything about pregnancy kinda grosses me out, so it’s not exactly surprising.

haha, I wonder if I should be asking if anyone thinks it looks cool. Like I do. LOL Maybe I’m the few( … or only one) who thinks it’s cool to see 3D ultrasounds.

I like to see the 3D ultrasounds! So you aren’t alone.

I am totally freaked out by them also!!! eeeek

They never really bothered me. However…I saw a super creepy one a few days ago! The baby was smiling but it so looked like an alien. It was not cute!

I’m not going to lie, those pictures creep me out. But I love that we have the technology to capture those images.
Though I like these because in regular ultrasound pictures, I can never see a head or arm or foot.

They totally creep me out too…Especially the ones where it looks like the baby’s head is morphing out of the wall. Looks like something straight out of a horror movie.

My husband does not like them either (I think it’s the sepia tones and that when the baby moves it shows up at bumps). I have no strong feelings either way. We’re not doing one.

I think they’re creepy, too. I can’t ever see wanting to get them done.
