Maybe it was just the underwear you were wearing? Or because you are pmsing you could be bloated. Or perhaps you looked so good, he just told you that so you wouldn’t wear it on in public so other men wouldn’t hit on you =P .

Don’t sweat it, men don’t think before they talk. My husband said my ass was getting bigger today. And he meant it in a nice way! Uggggh, men!

And you know what? I went to the store and bought ice cream too! lol, and ate not one, but two bowls! Cest la vie, what can ya do!

I am sorry, that moment when weight gain becomes a reality is not fun. The good news is that you could still wear it, so your weight gain isnt a tremendous amount.

You say you have tried different things, but maybe its time to track what you eat so you know exactly what you are consuming or maybe join Weight Watchers because they have great support.

Im PMSing too and totally felt like I was pregnant with twins yesterday…now its like 1 and a half…it is possible that the skirt shrunk in the laundry too though!

Could be PMS bloat or just being washed many times will shrink anything!

My heart and tears are with you, weight and body image are super sensitive subjects for me.

I would consider what your husband said to be more of a modesty issue ( like panty line) not about weight.

@bestbuddies:  Have you tried the new program, its much better nutrition and structured to promote non-processed foods- unlike the old version. Iwould look into it again.

@bestbuddies:  My sister does it and has had great success with it. I like the way its structured. It follows a lot of the studies and focuses on lean meats, lots of veggies, healthy fats and fruits. It doesnt promote anything processed (high points) even things like whole wheat bread.

Its the in-person meetings and weighins though that provides the best accountability instead of the online program. Statistically, those that do the inperson meetings have more success.

If it makes you feel better, Id like to add to the sob story…..

So, I got out my clothes from college ( which was about a year and a half ago since graduation) to hunt for something to wear for an interview and almost nothing fit well. My button down shirts had visible gaps thanks to my new boobies and my hips looked tight in the pants. Some dresses I used to pull over my head and frolick around on the beach in looked horrible. I literally wanted to jump into a time portal or crawl into a cave.

I’ve had a lot of trouble with eating disorders in the past which ravaged my system. My hormones/estrogent dominance and birth control made me gain lots of weight quick and have had the damdest time getting the scale to budge, and keep it from going higher..ahhhhh!

So I continue to work out purposefully 6 days a week, and stay active daily and eat well.  blahblah blah Theres only so much I have control of and can do! I’m working with doctors for my thryroid, hormones etc so Its just going to be a matter of time!

Stay positive with me!!!

@bestbuddies:  Its about more than that. Its the accountability. Its learning recipes, the program.

Its the same reason people have coaches or trainers. Sure they could go to the gym themselves or practice as a team, but they work harder and do more/better when they have a coach to give them encouragement, accountability and direction. Think of that meeting as your coach.  No one gets to the olympics without a coach, and they could “just go and do it on their own” too, hypothetically.
