Fall_In_Love22:  This is all kinds of amazing.  If your Darling Husband manages to confirm the date with the fetus, would he mind talking to mine?  I’d *love* to know when to tell my in laws to book flights to maximize their baby time and minimize their staring at pregnant me time.  K, thx.

I shouldn’t be laughing as hard as I am about this. I think someone needs to let him know that this is giving birth, not Amazon Prime. You can’t just check the box for “guaranteed delivery by x date”…

Just tell him October 29th and make him go away.

Unbelievable.  His “boss” career will be short lived if he doesn’t slow his roll.

Fall_In_Love22:  bwahahahahahaha! This guys is obviously a deliusional idiot. But it sounds like the higher ups are sane so I don’t think it’s a real issue. Just annoying for your husband. I’d probably go with “I’ll get right on that” and treat it like a joke.

Fall_In_Love22:  Have your husband write everything this guy and the higher-ups say down and be date stamping it. My mother is an HR manager and what he is doing is SUPER illegal, and if anything bad comes of your husband taking ALREADY APPROVED vacation time, documentation is going to be your best friend.

My Darling Darling Husband asked if I could not have the baby till October (I’m due Sept 23), so that he can take some parental leave (we get 52 weeks between the both of us, split however we choose), and go hunting for at least one of those.

I’m so desperate for us to have some venison in the freezer this winter that I’m good with his wanting to take a hunting trip during leave, but find it amusing that he thinks I can control the date.
