Think about his students loans though…he’ll be paying those down for 10 – 30 years!

Holy crap! What exactly does that mean that he’s a consultant as an MD?

I’m a nurse and its common for the doctors to still be paying off their student loans for 20-30 years. Some complain that the moment they finish with paying off loans they start paying for their children to go to college. The money is there but it takes a very smart and devoted person to get them down in a reasonable time. Its all about budgeting, no matter your profession

@AlwaysSunny:  not on a $700/hr salary that’s for sure. he’ll have those loans paid off in no time if he spends his money wisely.

however, this $700/hr thing sounds temporary

@lauraashley09:  Ya I don’t know much about the medical field but I was just comparing it to law. People always say “lawyers get $400 an hour” but that’s just billable hours. That’s not counting a lot of the other hours you work. Plus, many lawyers are $100,000 plus in the hole on loans.

I hope your Brother-In-Law is doing well, OP!

Wouldn’t want to be that guys wife…being with a doctor is lonely, can’t cuddle with cash.
